It's occurred to me lately that there seems to have been a huge shift in how soldiers view and fight war. When the wars we had were perceived to be a case of we were fighting for our own countries survival, then war was something that NEEDED to be done but most young men didn't want to go and were truly scared of the prospect. They went because it was a just cause and a fight for survival. In short we had warriors but reluctant ones.
My question is how long is it since it was decided that the next generations of soldiers should be conditioned to WANT to go to war and enjoy killing? There must be a huge amount of desensitisation in their formative years and a skew on their education. How did this come about and who decided on the methods? Just a few examples on how to do it.
Don't support the family and isolate fathers
Don't support discipline in schools
Encourage racism and the tribe mentality through news and sport
The good guys used to wear white
The bad guys wore black, SS, Nazis, Stormtroopers, Darth Vader
Fill TV full of Cop programs, War films, 24 Jack bower
Good guys now wear Black.. SWAT, Special forces etc.
Good guys now torture (well it is needed to keep us safe)
Spread a climate of fear or more likely create a real one
Fund black ops through the cultivation and dealing of drugs from war zones to be sold on the streets at home.
Isolate your child in a bedroom in front of the PS or Xbox for hours everyday fighting war simulations and enjoy killing. Preferably accompanied by some heavy rock music.
Destroy the economy and give them no hope or career or money.
And now recruit them on the poor city streets and tell them they can serve their country and kill legally for fun and get paid and gain respect.
Teach or enhance psychopathic tendencies, train them to be robots and obey.
NOW put them on a plane and let them loose at the other end to have some fun amongst a civilian population.

Torture is not justified no matter on who or for what.
Follow the above plan and here's the results you get. A dumbed down, obedient bunch of psychopaths who will do the bidding of the elite to get them power and fortunes all in the name of FUN!

Why do these confessions not make it onto every prime time news channel? and when they do come to light it's either covered up or professed to be one bad apple and yet when you hear these accounts this is the "Normal" behaviour.

And now that they have been used, mutilated, brain damaged and emotionally and morally destroyed!! Now they have to come home and fit into your neighbourhood.
And many will get jobs in the police, TSA, homeland security...and THEY are going to look after you and keep you safe from the mythical terrorist under you bed. Do you trust someone with the history of many veterans in Iraq and Afghanistan to protect your human rights as they protected the rights of the civilian population in those countries?
I know who I would be more scared of for losing my safety, freedom and human rights. How about you?
